The Mendl Festival - A homage to music and singing with actor Michael Mendl in Zeitz 2019

The cultural worker Beat Toniolo was the organizer of the Mendl Festival in Zeitz in 2019. Several events were held at different venues in Zeitz with the actor Michael Mendl. High demands vs. small budget?

These two things usually don t go together. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is the exception to the rule. Our cameras are of the same type and latest generation, but they have large 1 inch image sensors. Optimal image quality is achieved even under difficult lighting conditions. Programmable motor pan-tilts allow the cameras to be operated remotely, which minimizes personnel requirements and reduces costs.

A main field of activity of Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is multi-camera video recording and video production. We use cameras of the same type. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. As one of the few video producers, Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Only through multi-camera video production is it possible to record many areas of the event simultaneously in image and sound. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.
TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

Thanks to many years of activity, we can also draw on a wealth of experience in this area. Hundreds of TV contributions and reports were produced and broadcast. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. Due to our many experiences, we are able to work for you in almost all topics to produce TV reports and video reports.
Video recording of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. Of course, we rely on the multi-camera method insofar as it is an interview and conversation situation with several people. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. If interviews, conversations or discussion rounds are recorded without an audience, there is no need for a motor pan tilt.
Editing and editing of video and audio material

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. After the video recording, the video editing inevitably follows. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.
CD, DVD, Blu-ray Disc - Small Series Manufacturing

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives have a limited shelf life. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs lack electronic components. Thus, these potential weak points and causes for data loss are missing. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
