Mendl Festival - A homage to music and singing

The cultural worker Beat Toniolo was the organizer of the Mendl Festival in Zeitz in 2019. Several events were held with the actor Michael Mendl and other artists at various venues in Zeitz. The concert with reading entitled >A Homage to Music and Song< was recorded in this series of events. The video recording and production took place with 7 cameras in UHD/4K. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. As one of the few video producers, Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg can produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. The multi-camera recording makes it possible to capture the many areas of the event from different perspectives in the picture. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.
Video reports for television and the Internet

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. Over the years, several hundred video reports and TV features have been researched, filmed, edited and broadcast on television. The researched topics as well as the locations were very different and varied. These included current information and news, social events, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball and much more. Due to our extensive experience, we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on almost any topic.

Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. If the questioner should not be visible in interviews with only one person, two cameras would be sufficient. More than two cameras are always necessary when it comes to interviews and conversations with several people. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. The time required can be reduced if the video recordings are conversations and interviews without an audience.
Editing of video and audio material

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is understandably only one side of the coin. After video recording, video editing is the logical next step in video production. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. If you would like video material from you or from other sources to be integrated, you are welcome to submit this. Audio tracks from concert recordings can also be remixed and remastered.
Manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small quantities

We can offer you the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small series. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. The shelf life of USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is limited. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
