Actor Michael Mendl - Mendl Festival in Zeitz - A homage to music and singing

In 2019, Beat Toniolo organized the Mendl Festival in Zeitz. Several events were held together with the actor Michael Mendl. The concert with reading entitled >A Homage to Music and Song< was recorded in this series of events. The video recording and production took place with 7 cameras in UHD/4K. High demands despite limited finances?

Usually one is mutually exclusive. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is the exception to the rule. Our latest generation of modern cameras with large 1-inch image sensors are used. Excellent image quality is achieved even under difficult lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely through the use of programmable motorized pan-tilts, minimizing the need for personnel and reducing costs.

Video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg. Professional cameras of the same type are used. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is edited on high-performance computers using professional software. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.

TV and video reports for radio, streaming and the internet

In this area, too, we can draw on a wealth of experience based on many years of activity. Hundreds of video reports and TV reports have been produced and broadcast over the years. This activity led to a wide variety of places for a wide variety of topics. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience is so rich that we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on all sorts of topics.

Video production of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

Depending on the order, we also use several cameras for the video production of interviews, discussion events, round tables, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. Of course, we rely on the multi-camera method insofar as it is an interview and conversation situation with several people. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.

Editing of video and audio material

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. The soundtracks or audio tracks have to be adjusted and mixed while the video material is being edited. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small quantities

Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg offers small batch manufacturing of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs not only offer unbeatable advantages in terms of archiving. Hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards don't last forever. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
