The Mendl Festival - A homage to music and singing with actor Michael Mendl in Zeitz 2019

In 2019, Beat Toniolo organized the Mendl Festival in Zeitz. Several events were held at different venues in Zeitz with the actor Michael Mendl. Small financial means, but big goals?

These two things are usually incompatible. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is the exception to the rule. We use the latest generation of cameras with large 1-inch image sensors of the same type. Optimum image quality is guaranteed, even in difficult lighting conditions. Furthermore, depending on the situation, programmable motor pan tilters are used. Thus, remote control is possible. This minimizes personnel expenditure and significantly reduces costs.

Parallel video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

A main field of activity of Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is multi-camera video recording and video production. Professional cameras of the same type are used. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video material is cut on high-performance computers. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.

Video recording of concerts, theater performances and readings ...

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We use cameras that are remote controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. 5 and more cameras can be operated by a single person. Additional cameramen are not necessary.

TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV contributions have been made over the years. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. We are able to research for you in all conceivable areas and to produce video contributions and TV reports.

Video recording of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. There is no need for a motor pan tilt when it comes to discussions without an audience.

Editing of video and audio material

The video recording of events, concerts, interviews, etc. is understandably only one side of the coin. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. An important part of editing video material is adjusting and mixing the soundtracks or audio tracks. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. You can also submit existing image, text, video and audio material. If, for example, the audio tracks of a concert recording are to be mastered, we can do this or you can supply it as a file.

Manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small quantities

Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg offers small batch manufacturing of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs. In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not contain any electronic components that could become a weak point and cause data loss. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are the best choice for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos as a keepsake.
