Mendl Festival - A homage to music and singing

Beat Toniolo organized the Mendl Festival in Zeitz in 2019. Several events were held together with the actor Michael Mendl. The reading and concert with the title >A Homage to Music and Song< was recorded in this series of events. The video recording and production took place with 7 cameras in UHD/4K. Small budget vs. high demands?

Most of the time you have to make a decision because these things are mutually exclusive. However, Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is the exception to the rule. We use cameras with the latest generation of large 1-inch image sensors of the same type. Optimum image quality is guaranteed even under difficult lighting conditions. Programmable motor pan-tilts enable remote control of the cameras and thus contribute to reducing costs by minimizing personnel costs.

Multi-camera video production is a main focus of Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg. We use cameras of the same type. Basically, at least 4K/UHD is recorded. The video editing takes place on high-performance computers. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.
Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

For the video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc., we consistently use the multi-camera method. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The very varied alignment of the cameras takes place from a central point. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.
Video reports for TV, streaming and internet

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. This resulted in several hundred TV reports and video reports. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included current news and information, cultural events, sports competitions, football, handball, social events and much more. Due to our many experiences, we are able to work for you in almost all topics to produce TV reports and video reports.
Video production of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on the order, we also use several cameras for the video production of interviews, discussion events, round tables, etc. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. If an interview or conversation with several people is to be recorded on video, the use of more than 2 cameras is essential. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.
Video editing, video adjustment, audio editing

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. The next step after video recording is video cutting or video editing. An important part of editing video material is adjusting and mixing the soundtracks or audio tracks. Additional text, image and video material as well as blurbs are also designed and integrated during the video editing. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.
Small series of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives have a limited shelf life. Electronic components are the common cause of data loss from hard drives, USB sticks and memory cards. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs do not have these. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
