In 2019, Beat Toniolo organized the Mendl Festival in Zeitz. Several events were held with the actor Michael Mendl and other artists at various venues in Zeitz. The video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. Using the multi-camera method, we realize the video recording of the stage performance from many different perspectives. We use cameras that are remote controlled. In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. The security of the data on USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is not guaranteed for eternity. Since Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs contain no electronic components, this potential vulnerability and cause of data loss is absent. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
