The Mendl Festival - A homage to music and singing with actor Michael Mendl in Zeitz 2019

In 2019, Beat Toniolo organized the Mendl Festival in Zeitz. Several events were held together with the actor Michael Mendl. The reading and concert with the title >A Homage to Music and Song< was recorded in this series of events. The video recording and production took place with 7 cameras in UHD/4K. High demands but only a small budget?

Usually there is an incompatibility between these possibilities. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is the exception and the only video production company to refute this rule. We use cameras with large, latest-generation 1-inch image sensors of the same type. Excellent image quality is ensured even under difficult lighting conditions. Cameras can be controlled remotely through the use of programmable motor pan-tilts, thus minimizing personnel expenditure, which leads to cost savings.

Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is one of the few companies that offers multi-camera video production. We use cameras of the same type. This ensures identical picture quality even with 4K/UHD. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.

When it comes to video recording theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., we naturally use the multi-camera method. The multi-camera video recording makes it possible to record the different areas of the performance from different perspectives. Remote-controlled cameras are used. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. It only takes one person to control all the cameras. Additional cameramen are not required.
TV and video reports for radio, streaming and the internet

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Hundreds of video reports and TV reports have been produced and broadcast over the years. Both the topics and the locations were very diverse. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience makes it possible for you to research all conceivable subject areas in order to produce TV reports and video reports.
Video recording of rounds of talks, discussion events, interviews, etc.

Depending on what the client wants and how the situation is on site, several cameras are also used for interviews, rounds of talks, discussion events, etc. Two cameras are sometimes sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. Depending on whether it is an event with an audience, remote-controlled cameras can also be used here. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.
Video editing, video adjustment, audio editing

Of course, recording events, concerts, theater performances, talks, etc. on video is only half the battle. After the video recording, the video editing inevitably follows. During the video editing, the soundtracks and audio tracks are viewed, adjusted and mixed at the same time. During editing, the video is completed with logos, blurbs and, if necessary, other video, image and text material. Video material from your own or other sources can be easily integrated. It is also possible to edit, mix and master the audio tracks of concert recordings.
CD, DVD, Blu-ray Disc - Small Series Manufacturing

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. The shelf life of USB sticks, memory cards and hard drives is limited. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
