In 2019, Beat Toniolo organized the Mendl Festival in Zeitz. Several events were held with the actor Michael Mendl and other artists at various venues in Zeitz. The concert with reading entitled >A Homage to Music and Song< was recorded in this series of events. The video recording and production took place with 7 cameras in UHD/4K. High demands and limited financial resources - a difficult combination?

Usually you have to prioritize because these options are mutually exclusive. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg is the exception to the rule. We use the latest generation of cameras with large 1-inch image sensors of the same type. Outstanding image quality is ensured even in difficult lighting conditions. The use of programmable motor pan-tilts enables the cameras to be operated remotely, which reduces personnel expenditure and enables cost savings.

Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. The video editing is done using professional software on high-performance computers. Strotfjord Film- und Videoproduktionen Magdeburg already offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p.
Video production of concerts, theater performances, readings ...

In the video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings, etc., several cameras are of course used. The multi-camera video recording makes it possible to record the different areas of the performance from different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. From a central point, a cameraman has everything in view and can align the cameras in a variety of ways. This reduces manpower and costs because a single person can control multiple cameras.
TV and video reports for radio and internet streaming

Through working as a video journalist for many years, I was able to gain relevant experience in this area. Hundreds of TV contributions and reports were produced and broadcast. The topics were as varied as the places reported on. The topics ranged from current news and information to cultural and sporting events, social events and much more. Due to our extensive experience, we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on almost any topic.
Video recording of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on the order, we also use several cameras for the video production of interviews, discussion events, round tables, etc. For simple interviews with only one person, 2 cameras can be sufficient if the questioner is not to be shown in the picture. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. Remotely controllable cameras would be used if it is an event with an audience. If rounds of talks without an audience are to be video-recorded, the motor pan-tilt may not be necessary. This reduces the technical effort.
Editing and editing of video and audio material

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. A video production cannot be completed without video editing. An important part of editing video material is adjusting and mixing the soundtracks or audio tracks. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. If you would like video material from you or from other sources to be integrated, you are welcome to submit this. Audio tracks from concert recordings can also be remixed and remastered.
Manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs in small quantities

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. In terms of archiving, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs offer a number of advantages. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs for music and video are therefore the first choice as a souvenir, as a gift or for sale.
